This is the accepted way of staging your car in DragFactor and all its Add-ons. The Shallow Stage leaves the car short of the game timers and allows the driver to get a

slight 'run up' to those timers, this in turn makes the race quicker than it otherwise

should be.

 

it may not sound like much but believe me, there have been many race results were

the times have been identical to the third decimal point, so it is critial to stage correctly. if 2 racers run the same time then we generally look at the replay to

check how the cars staged to split the result.

 

rFactor was primarily designed for circuit racing, so a fully functioning 'christmas

tree' isnt possible in our game, and that looks like the situation with rFactor2 also, for the time being.
